About The MakeUp Maid
Previous to starting her own makeup company, Macey Long assisted the well-known Trish McEvoy during her privately held client makeup sessions and personal appearances in major department stores. During this time, she also was the National Trainer and Artist for Trish McEvoy’s various NYC boutique stores located in such places as Saks and Henri Bendel. She sought out to apply makeup for several commercials, including Honda, GMC, Nissan, and Pontiac. She has also been called upon to apply makeup for several promotional events that included Victoria’s Secret and MTV specials. She also appeared on the Early Show on CBS as the head makeup artist to demonstrate proper makeup techniques during CBS make- over segments. Macey has worked as head makeup artist on several episodes of the television show, Cool In Your Code.
Originally from North Carolina, Macey has been applying makeup for events since she was young. One of her first experiences was working with stage actors at the Opera House Theatre Company at the age of 16. As an actress herself, not only has she performed in shows across the country, but found herself applying makeup to most of the performers. That is when she knew that makeup was her passion. Macey loves what she does and enjoys teaching what she has learned through her many experiences and clients. Macey’s passion and love for the industry will no doubt reflect in the success of The MakeUp Maid.
